Not A Pleasant Stay

Stayed here recently for two weeks and found the warden and his wife friendly and welcoming. The site is well maintained, although the facilities are insufficient for the current climate. The site wifi is abysmal and were only able to get it outside the site office. We are not dog lovers and as for peace and quiet, the excessive number of dogs made it an awful stay. Dog owners might find their dogs barking at all hours somewhat cute, but we didn't. People allowed their dogs to run free, even watching their animals foul on the grass beside pitches and on the road. Someone had used the ladies disabled shower to wash their dog and the animal had even poo'd in the cubicle and the poo was just left there on the floor. Having camped and caravaned around the world, this site was a first and for us a not to be repeated experience.

Neil, I hope you reported these complaints to the wardens.  I’ve stayed at this site, indeed I’m heading there tomorrow for a few days as my husband has a business appt in Dundee.  My previous visit was pleasant and to the standard expected.  Yes, at times, across the UK club sites, there are some individuals who have unacceptable ideas of behaviour, particularly late at night, or/ and when using the toilet and shower facilities have poor personal hygiene standards.  Thankfully, they are in the minority.  I now report any unacceptable behaviour immediately to the wardens.  My leisure time is too precious for these idiots to spoil my enjoyment.  Kind Regards.
