Peaceful yet urban site.
Stayed here on the way back north from a trip down to Yorkshire. Always a good site, excellent facilities and nice, helpful staff.
Located in the village of Markinch, and although overlooked on one side by a housing scheme, the layout of the site and the lovely tree cover make it very relaxing. Markinch is great for supplies.
The highlight for me always with Balbirnie is the adjoining Balbirnie Park. Miles of walking and great for taking the dogs for a huge run around.
