We were looking forward to our stay here and weren't disappointed, it was amazing. Yes, the facilities are getting a little tired and need some TLC and there isn't much grass around, but this was more than made up for by the location. A spotless site, with facilities to match and helpful friendly wardens who really knew their patch. Leaving via the city centre to head East was a bit hairy with the road works but it's amazing how people soon move over with a big caravan coming through. A great pub rounf the corner with lovely food and a cracking pint, two minutes off the quayside with so much happening there was also a big plus - to look out of your window and see the masts of the "Matthew 2" passing - awesome. If the council do take this it will be a great loss all round so enjoy whilst you can - we did
