Stayed for 3 nights after travelling from Portsmouth ferry after a 3 week France trip. Firstlying we wanted to do our washing only to find the front loading machine was broken with a top loading machine next to it. I might as well have washed our clothes in the river as top loaders do not clean clothes thoroughly so we did not use it. Only 3 showers and toilets per block, plainly not enough for 56 pitches. I realise it may close down due to leases but more amenities should have been included when first built. Only one chemical dump also. Pitches seem smaller too. Handy for the ferry into the city. One point.... why do most CMC sites have fresh water taps at MWPs on the wrong side for UK vans ? We have been to numerous club sites in 9 years but this is my least favourite.
