Beautiful site

Stayed 6 days June 2016. lovely quiet well maintained site. Adult only site. Spotless individual shower, toilet rooms. Helpful friendly staff. We were revisiting old haunts and visiting friends having lived in the area some years ago and really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Great site

SmileWe stayed at Bath Chew Valley earlier this month for seven nights and were very happy with everything. Birds singing away happily and we heard the cuckoo a number of times. The site is clean, well maintained and the staff obviously enjoyed their jobs. Sarah was fantastic helping us with a problem that had occurred at home by scanning and emailing documents for us. Lovely walks around the lake and the local pub offers good quality food. Being an adult only site the 'good for families' comment does not really apply here. We only really used the tv for the news and managed well with the aerial on our motorhome receiving 15 or so channels which was more than sufficient for us.

Excellently maintained site peaceful. Only minor comment is that not all pitches are covered by the TV Booster system found aerial signal to be intermittent.

Superb weekend

Our first visit to Bath Chew Valley was absolutely excellent. We can't praise the staff highly enough, without exception they were friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do from the site, especially if you like walking and birdwatching, although Bath and Bristol are within easy reach. We will soon be returning hopefully for a longer break this time.

An Excellent Site for Adults

We have just spent five nights, and wish we could have spent more. Right from the start the service was really good from the reception to the valet system. Having someone to park the caravan and level it, was great, as it was much quicker than we could do. The facilities are immaculate with individual toilet/shower units. The site is very quiet, allowing you to listen to the birds singing in a very pretty environment. We have no hesitation to recommend this adult only site.

Lovely site for adults

This is a very well kept and beautiful site with large pitches separated by hedging and plants. The office also houses the tourist board and so there is a lot of info on things to do in the area. There is a choice of serviced pitches - some with tap and grey water emptying facility.  The shower/toilet rooms are spotless and heated with hand and hair dryers. There is a great pub in the nearby village so no need to take the car. There is also a post office/store in the village. Lovely walks within half and hour.  One small point - the chemical toilet emptying facility is too high and there can be risks of splashback.  Otherwise, a perfect stay.

Great Site

Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Siting the van was very welcome after our long drive. The site is good for access to places of interest in the surrounding area. Good information on Bath park and ride which made for a trouble free visit. We would certainly use this site again if in the area.

lovely site

This was our first time to tow a van, and we were exhausted when we got there, so when they put her on pitch for us it was such a relief. But the staff were all very helpful, kind, understanding and so very patient. Clean all round the site we will go again when we can. Local pubs were easy to get to and good food too. short walk into village for shop and pub. What more could we ask for, thanks

Brilliant find, one of the cleanest sites we stayed at. Private bathrooms what a luxury. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good location in quiet surroundings. Adults only site. Will definitely come back. Thank you

Great Base for touring area

Stayed at site for 5 nights in Feb. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was a bit apprehensive about our caravan being sited on pitch for us, but I needn't have been, the process was quick and easy and they even made sure the van was level all round. The site is well maintained and quiet, ample space between pitches and the toilet/shower facilities are the best I have come across. For touring - Bristol, Bath, Wells and Glastonbury are an easy drive away and the site even has a car for daily hire should you require one. Locally there is a well stocked village shop and local pub serving good food, both within easy walking distance. The site has an information room and well stocked library plus leaflets providing clear directions on local walks. All in all an excellent site and one we will be visiting again
