Great location to overnight before Le Shuttle. We visited on 30th August had an absolute nightmare journey from Cornwall, we rang and were given the most positive, amenable and reassuring response from Andy/Troy when we explained that we weren't going to meet the late arrival time.
They stayed on duty and met us when we arrived, quickly located the pitch and said good night with such cheer. Can't thank them enough for taking away our worry and helping to start our month trip to Ital6 with such kindness and positivity. Thank you 😊 See you next year and promise to try to avoid the late arrival.
Easy access to campsite from motorway
First time at this campsite coming back on the tunnel easy to find and felt spacious. Pitch was hardstanding which I booked decent size didn't feel overlooked. Warm welcome from warden(sorry didn't catch your name) leaflet on the site and details on layout.
Shocked by how much sweet things were for sale, I did ask if there were any healthy choices :) Lol. However the cherry tomatoes growing outside reception were delicious and healthy.
We went to Oak on the green wonderful food and 10% discount, better going earlier than later as it fills up quickly.
It wasn't the quietest site we have been on with road noise and trains in the distance but it didn't disturb sleep.
The facilities are excellent, clean and accessible, very pretty around the reception. We normally stay on CL's so it was warm in the facilities, card accessed barrier and box situated there to drop cards off which is handy.
Yes would return to this site. Not sure what the comments were re recycling and permanent residents ??
Wonderful site
What more can we say, a wonderful quiet site in the middle of the Kent countryside, but easy to find and access as it is just a few minutes from J8 on the M20. Great central location to tour Kent.
The site is beautifully kept, a credit to the site team, who are always out and about doing something. !!!
The visiting food vans are an added bonus, and well advertised so you can plan when to have a takeaway, or a sunday morning coffee !!
We will definitely return next year
Long term residents
Just left this campsite, seems to us there were a few long term residents on site which gave the holiday a slightly depressing feel. We didn't sleep well, dogs barking all night. Toilets and showers were good, but sadly will not be returning here.
Best Site on the network
Was recommended this site by some friends who visit the site regularly and it didn't disappoint. After reading one review on here, I was quite worried, but I have to say I don't who how anyone can class this site as soulless!! From the moment you arrive Andy and Troy make you feel so welcome. The floral displays around reception are beautiful, then when its dark the site comes alive even more with solar lights in the trees and planters. I particularly liked the innovative display of bottles. "Herb your shelf" which we used on several occasions was a great benefit. The welcome leaflet was full of helpful info about the site and local area, also including the fact that recycling is done at the end (guessing the previous reviewer didn't read that). We cannot wait to return. The Butchers Block at the Bluebell in Bearsted was excellent, and offers discount to members.
Fantastic site with great management
Booked in here while visiting family close by. Andy and Troy were great wardens - they really work very hard to make the site welcoming. The site is immaculately clean, great facilities and lovely personal touches to make you feel really relaxed. The onsite shop is well stocked with all those holiday essentials, and a few sweet treats. The local area is great to explore - Bearsted Green (30mins) and Leeds village (50mins) are within walking distance, and have lovely pubs (10% discounts offered and dog friendly). The site also has good access to the M20 for those travelling to/from the continent. Highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely return!!

Diss
Unfortunately, this was the worst Caravan and Motorhome Club site we’ve ever stayed at. We originally booked for three nights but left after just two, forfeiting the payment for the final night because it wasn’t worth staying any longer.
The site is not very dog-friendly. The designated dog area is long and narrow, and it isn’t securely fenced, making it unsafe for smaller dogs to roam freely. Furthermore, the only walking routes available are accessible only via a busy main road, which isn’t ideal or safe for dog walking.
Moreover, the site lacks proper recycling facilities. The only bins provided are for glass bottles, with no options for recycling other materials. This was disappointing and not up to the usual standards we expect from a club site.
The pitches are spacious, however when the site is full you do feel very overlooked from all directions.
On the positive side, the showers were clean, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. However, despite these positives, the overall experience was so negative that we would recommend avoiding this soulless campsite altogether.

Many thanks for your comments. Please note that any concerns can be raised with us as either feedback or a complaint for formal review by contacting the Club directly. We prefer reviews to be about the site rather than any complaints as we get reports from other members to say they don’t find these constructive when looking for a site to stay. Thank you Andy & Troy - the best Wardens in the business!
We've been members for years, and if we're honest, we know that some sites have better wardens than others. Well, we now know that Troy and Andy are the very best.
They helped us out with a particular situation to do with our son's graduation. It was a huge relief to know that they were there to help out.
Thank you guys, above and beyond! Hope we see you again sometime, and enjoy the Oak on the Green on us.
Jayne, Matthew & of course Joseph!
Relaxing Location
Relaxing immaculate site with really pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff, 40 minute walk to Bearsted village for bars and restaurants and a bus stop directly outside the entrance for Maidstone.
