I thought reviews saying 'on a housing estate' were a little off putting, but on arrival realised people just meant that the site is sandwiched between a village (the unglamorously named 'Spital', as in hoSpital apparently) and the main east coast railway line - last train is about 11pm, I didn't hear any during the night. There was an interesting old photo in the gents showing the site had been around for quite a few decades. The welcome from the warden was cheerful and comprehensive, and I ended up taking the pitch he recommended (pitch 13, a smaller one over looking the village and sea beyond). There is cardkey entry and exit and a comprehensive facility block. The disabled toilet included a shower, but the washing up area couldn't take my wife's mobility scooter. All gradients on site, and from the road up to the site, were good for the electric scooter but a manual wheelchair might need a bit of effort. One of the village pubs (5 or 10 mins walk) was visible from my pitch as the site overlooks Spital but was quiet while we were there. Asda, is 15mins walk (but take a little longer along the riverside) 5mins drive, and has a petrol station.  All the dogs (and cat!) I saw were on a lead. The only one not was a kid's small furry and he had that under tight control.  There are about 4 cul-de-sacs, each of which I saw had low level dead end signs, and the warden pointed each one out on the map he gave me when I checked in. I would imagine taking a car+caravan down any of these then needing to turn around would be tricky. I was given the option of choosing a pitch from the map, or having a look around first - any unit which is difficult to manoeuvre would be advised to explore on foot first! I would definitely return if I was once more in the area.
