Although we were only due to stay for 1 night , we ended up staying for 4, due to delays and in the end cancellation of travelling to France and Spain. The wardens Jackie and her partner were really helpful to us. I noticed they were going over and above their normal role. These are very uncertain and changeable times, the wardens however were up to date advising club members of the new restictions as they came in force , unfortunately they were subjected to (some) unkind members who were less than understanding , some being rude to them. Despite this they were diligent, hard working, polite and knowledgable and happy to support campers who were, on occasion Clueless !
The site was spotless, well maintained and despite freezing weather the amenieties were all available . The site was open and surrounded by countryside .A great dog walking area, fab little shop opposite the site to get fresh food and a LIdl within a half a mile or so . Also plenty of PCR places to get tested if you need it. HOPEVALLEY in folkestone were great with the bonus of being able to park a motorhome close to it.
