Good for families

Great site...Fabulous staff and 1st class facilities.

Ok so the site itself is a fabulous location, 1st class communal facilties with caring helpful professional staff. But....and this is absolutely no reflection of the site. The Black horse pub across the road is a disgrace. Advertises real ales and all day home cooked food available. So 1st visit Wednesday...hi is kitchen open?....no sorry the chefs not turned up...he's tired today. 2nd visit Thursday 19.45...hi is the kitchen open?....no the chef goes home at 20.00 so not taking any more orders. 3rd time lucky I thought...Saturday 17.30...hi is the kitchen open?...oh yes of course...find yourself a table. I did so and got handed a laminated menu by the waitress...it was covered in mucky finger prints and old food deposits clearly not been wiped clean..so I sat with pint and waited for the waitress to come and take my order....I waited waited and waited while she was prancing about with locals editing the jukebox. Eventually 1/2 hour later after all the frolicking she came over and said oh hasn't anyone taken your order yet.? A joke....an absolute joke....dont bother with this pub.
