Just returned from a lovely 8 night stay (2nd time this year). We have been members for 30+ years, visiting this site over the years and the current wardens here, Julie & Glen, have made this site truly special. The pride shown in the site , from the beautiful planters, the welcome, helpfulness, cleanliness of the toilet block and very well stocked information room is a credit to them. Wardens always visable doing lots of jobs and throughly knowledgeable about the whole area which is great for newcomers. The little play area is great for little ones and nice to see it has been kept as some others sites (like Buxton) have removed them. The shower block could do with an upgrade like other sites are getting, but I guess its costly to do such things but hopefully its time will come !. Thanks for another great stay from The Murphys.
