A really well maintained site just off the motorway, clearly signposted and easy to drive into. Large hard standing pitches are laid out amongst mature trees to create a peaceful and relaxing haven just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool. Very dog friendly! Dog walks straight from site and a great little enclosed dog area which is totally fenced in so that you can safely let dogs off the lead. The wardens were lovely! Very cheerful, welcoming and efficient. Check in (during these strangest of times) was easy and safe. Lots of written information about social distancing on site and how to stay safe meant that there was no confusion about what was required of everyone. Everything was explained with clear instruction. The toilet/shower block was immaculate and the wrist band system to ensure only 6 people were in the building at any one time was excellent. We loved this site so much we made another booking to return again in a few weeks. If you want a base to explore the North West then this place is right up there with the best options.
