Lovely but bit out of the way

This was the main site for our first motorhoming holiday. We were a little disappointed with the location as nothing was as nearby as it was with the previous two sites except for The Three Horseshoes Inn at which we had an amazing evening meal, delicious food and great service. The pub garden has lovely views. We walked to Leek and got a taxi back as it was a Sunday so the bus service was at best limited, which is understandable. Tittesworth Water looked lovely. We took the motorhome out for the day and visited the Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath and Bakewell, all well worth a visit. When we first picked a pitch it was at the top of the site but we immediately heard and smelt the motorbikes in the field so we moved a row down. From there we could hear the traffic on the main road but it didn't disturb us at night. Overall nothing wrong with the site just not the location we had imagined, which is I guess a lack of research on our part. The highlight of our stay was the delicious freshly made pizzas by Fitz on the Saturday evening.
