We have just come back from spending a week at Bladon Chains club site. On arrival we were checked in by the relief wardens who were lovely. Eventually found a pitch and set up only to discover that the last occupant had permitted their dogs to foul on it in numerous places. We complained to the warden who was very apologetic, picked it up and then disinfected the areas. Absolutely couldn’t fault him at all. The road noise is constant on this site as its located just off a roundabout and the main road into Woodstock. We were there when the pop up site opened and although it had its own facilities the occupants still used the facilities on the main site which caused even longer waiting times. Halfway through our week we woke up to discover another pile of dog poo right adjacent to our A frame. Again the warden collected it and was just as disgusted as we were. All in all, not a good week for us.
