Recently spent a week on this lovely site. Was very busy the entire week and the lovely wardens were always cheerful and friendly. There seemed to be quite a few people using the site as a stop over and staying just one night. The but, relate to the facilities. These are kept spotlessly clean and a credit to the wardens. However the club need to note they are very old and tired and in desperate need of a refurb. There are only 4 cubicles in the showers which are very small. Most days when we were there we either had to queue for a shower or there were people waiting when we finished. When in the shower cubicles when others using either side (which was everyday) because of the small size water splashed under the partitions so shoes got wet. Only a white stool and a couple of hooks on the door. Because the showers were always busy - one in one out - the walls, curtain, floors were constantly wet. Despite the amount of people using the limited showers they were kept spotlessly clean. So apart from the facilities, the site is lovely and a bonus is close the Blenheim Palace and the beautiful Cotswolds.
