We enjoyed our stay here. The wardens were extremely friendly and very helpful. The pitches are reasonably spaced out and level. Reading previous reviews, we were a bit apprehensive about the showers, however after using them, we cannot understand the negative comments. Sure the decor looks a bit dated, but there are no tiles falling off the walls and the building is scrupulously clean, well lit and well heated. And it always smelt clean. The shower flow was powerful enough and the water was hot. There are sufficient hooks for clothes and towels and unlike a lot of other places - there are trays for soap and shampoo etc. The site is perfect for visiting Blenheim palace, just a twenty minute walk away.
