A lovely site overall with main pitches within the old walled garden but ancillary pitches for few vans outside the main walls. One of these (directly opposite the main entrance in) is the childrens' play area which seemed quite well used but within the walls all was quiet. Good sized pitches but narrow drive made it awkward to properly reverse onto pitch unless no-one opposite (seems quite common on formal sites these days). A lot used motor movers to pitch. Easy access from M/way and just a mile past Safari Park (site sells tickets for Park which give multiple entries during your stay at no different price to buying at Park). Close to Stirling (use the P&R just beyond M/way junction), The Trossachs and Loch Lomond. Toilets/washrooms need better steam extraction to avoid the black mould on ceilings but otherwise very well maintained and cleaned (pity some users can be so messy) Only drawback for us is that it closes in the Winter months.
