Lovely site with peaceful atmosphere - we were here late July beginning of school holidays so quite full. Admittedly we did manage to find a quiet corner just off the main area. Good walks around the grounds and fantastic Safari Park. Good base for exploring the Trossachs, Lake Lomond, Stirling and Falkirk. Good shop and reasonable tourist information room. You have to put a returnable £20 deposit down for a TV satellite box and scart lead which worked ok. Toilets and showers were mostly good, but condensation damp on ceiling has left black marks which will probably have to be sorted to get a higher rating.
