Great location

We've just returned from 8 nights away at this lovely site, our second visit and certainly not our last. The relief wardens worked hard to keep everything running smoothly and did an excellent job of keeping the site and facilities clean and tidy. (Another member complained to me that there were quite a few twigs and leaves about! It's in a wooded area, and woods do tend to have twigs and leaves.) There are many lovely walks to do in the area, one of our favourites is along the river to Burnsall, and wildlife enthusiasts will be kept entertained by the variety of birds around. If you follow the path to Barden bridge and leave the woods by the little wooden bridge, your dog can be let off lead right up to the aquaduct, and if you continue right up to Barden bridge, cross the river and walk back down the other side, there's a huge field where your dog can run free. Can't wait to visit again,!
