Despite my sat nav being a Caravan Club one it did not recognise the site and the postcode wanted to send me down narrow roads. I drove past the site twice as the signage was unable to be read from the road. I only found the site as I was going to pull in and ask for directions at the cafe and spotted caravan club sign. Regrettably this was the start of a disappointing stay, I arrived in lovely autumn weather after a long drive and decided to wait for next day to explore. Unfortunately torrential rain started early evening and into the whole of the next day. Due to no radio signal on site or mobile signal allied with road closures due to cycle race I decided to cut trip short and return home a day early. Probably a good site for walking in reasonable weather but no good for single traveller in poor weather due to lack of anything to listen to or do.
