The muisic in the toilets drove us mad

Really enjoyed the site and the area is fantastic. We go there because my wife is an artist and loves the scenery and I like the walking. The view from Pen y Fan is fantastic. The site is as you would expect from a club site. However we won't be going back because the constant radio in the toilets and washing up area drove us to distraction and made using them a poor experience..

Better get used to the piped music as all refurbished sites seem to feature it. I hate it too.

I love the music in the washrooms.  I think it's great, there's nothing better than music when you're having a shower.  I would like to see it extended to every club site's shower block.  It also means that if I'm late showering and Radio 2 is on then I don't miss listening to the pop master competition at 1030am lol

We totally agree with Simanfa, we have sometimes asked before we book if they have music in the TBs.  We also hate it with a vengeance as one cannot please everyone and Radio 2 is more like Radio 1 so not soothing or pleasant as it was years ago.  We love light classical , brassband and jazz but would not inflict it on anyone else, also who is paying the PRS fee which is quite hefty? It is the members, I do not remember anyone asking me if my membership fee was to be used for that purpose. It is possibly also up to the wardens if they switch it on or not I shouldn't think it is compulsory! We fould Chester fairoaks was one of the worst culprits, so loud and in all public areas even I think in the disabled so unable to escape it.  Maybe this is unimportant in the scheme of things but can one not have peace and quiet anywhere now? Obviously not.
