A piece of heaven in Dorset

We booked with our friends, both motorhomers, as we’d heard good reports and been recommended. A pleasant welcome down an adequate lane, with passing places, from a lady warden who showed us to our allocated pitch and advised us that we could change if not suitable as there were plenty of free pitches. Such a peaceful, well kept site, with fine views, run by a great team! The facilities are spotlessly clean and varied with loos, showers and ‘bathroom type’ areas plus a bar and restaurant ..... The food was delicious in a friendly atmosphere! A small shop too for necessities! Having been caravanners for over 40 years and recently changing to a motorhome getting about is not so easy, however, the area is so delightful with walks from the rear of the site, towards Bridport or a lovely walk through pretty meadows to Waytown and the Hare and Hounds ...... again fab food and beer! Plus, a bus service, at the top of the entrance lane, runs into Bridport, which was just right for coffee shops, restaurants, a great museum, antique shops and quirky clothes shops! A super few days and we shall definitely be back, soon, I hope! thank you Bingham Grange
