A Terrific Week

We have just returned from 7 nights at Bingham Grange, having previously booked months ago, before it was bought by the C&MC. So it was such a surprise to learn of the Club’s acquisition. Firstly I would like to comment on the Wardens. We have always found the Wardens, no matter on which site, to be cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable and most friendly. But I have to say the Wardens on this site are all that PLUS. They were amazing, given that they are dealing with some unusual situations on a site which is not (yet) up to Club standards. Well done to each and every one of them. They are certainly going that extra mile to clean the facilities, mow the grass, clip the hedges etc.and still have time for a joke and a smile. We have stayed at Bingham Grange several times before and like it for it’s peacefulness, proximity to many lovely beaches, towns etc in such a pretty part of Dorset, and for the brilliant doggie walk. So we will look forward to seeing the refurbishments made in the coming months/years (?) by the Club which can only improve an already lovely site.

We have also just returned from a 7 night stay and can agree completely with the previous comments. The site is a real gem, peaceful and situated in such a beautiful part of the country. It also has the potential for being one of the jewels in the crown of C&MC sites. It does need bringing up to date as regards pitch sizes, facilities etc that would match the club standards but this is progress that can only be for the benefit of all. Having read all the previous reviews, we arrived with eyes open in order to make up our own minds up. We were delighted. Let us all see this site move from strength to and give the wardens and the club the backing they deserve in order to make this a first class site.

One comment I would make is to adjust the departure time to before 12.00 and arrivals after 1.00 pm. For those who have to take down an awning this would not be so much of a rush. I can imagine that with the distances members have to travel most would arrive after 1.00

Well done all.
