Lets get the good stuff out of the way. The pitch was excellent. If you can get one as far down the hill as you can - away from the office and facilities complex. Do go on the walk to the Hare and Hounds pub (2 miles) which is recommended. DO NOT rely on them (i) being open when you get there and (ii) being polite or welcoming, The food was ok but not cheap, so I guess NOT ok. The staff were all polite and very helpful. Its close to West bay, Bridport and Lyme Regis. We arrived he day before they decided to mow, blow, cut and manicure the site ready for a bank holiday weekend - not so quiet. Certainly not at 0800 in the morning. Noisy neighbours on a birthday weekend Skyping - Hhmmm. The food in the restaurant was a but hit and miss. Mine was not great but my partners was excellent so you takes your choice........ Would we go back? No, I don't think so. Overpriced but with good facilities and no real soul (yet). Everything is very efficient and clean so no worries there it just wasn't up to the standard we have experienced at other sites.
