Don't let the loo spoil things

Stayed here for two weeks holiday and really enjoyed it. Yes the toilet facilities are a let down but we had no problem accessing them at any time or their cleanliness as the wardens frequently inspected them and were seen to sanitise them. A big problem was that people didn't use the banding system properly, not putting a band on the hook on entering or not removing it on exit! For me that was the only negative of the site. There is a passing place on the access road so not a problem there either. Most of the wardens were excellent in their attitude and carrying out their jobs, just one lady warden seemed a bit grumpy but maybe not a surprise in what and who they deal with! The site is well place to visit Somerset,Dorset and Devon. We visited Weymouth and took the coast road from Bridport to enjoy one of the best views in Britain looking towards Portland and the Fleet lagoon. The donkey sanctuary at Sidmouth is well worth a visit as is the tramway at Seaton,as well as the beaches at both too.Beer is another lovely seaside town. Plenty of things to do and see. We ate at many establishments but the best was Dexter's in Beaminster, good food, service and we'll priced. No traffic noise on site and lovely walks too. A very enjoyable stay for us and we will be back.
