We stayed here mid October when the site was less than half full and it was glorious. The facilities (some a little outdated) were spotlessly clean, abundant hot water and no queues, indeed very few others around at all. Most people seem to use their own facilities. The best dog walk we have ever come across on a site, beautiful off lead, fenced walk through trees and down to a river. There are also many other farmland walks linking into the site and it's possible to walk to Bridport too. Excellent, safe walking. Pitches are level, the whole site is slightly terraced. Be careful with choice of site as some are in constant shade while others get sun all day and also great views. Serviced pitches have the best sun and views as a rule but they seemed a little 'crowded' compared to the other sites. Reception had allocated a site on arrival but we swapped to a more suitable one easily, after all we're paying for it. Friendly, helpful staff, near drive to many coastal walks and beaches. Lovely overall, would definitely go again.
