An ideally situated site to explore west Dorset and Jurassic coast from Portland to East Devon. The site still has the feeling of a commercial site with closer pitches and tight roadways as well as fewer toilet blocks. We understand the club is planning a complete redevelopment at the end of the season which we are sure will address many of these issues. Our concern is that the finished site will be yet another over developed site by the club to include several holiday flats, ready camping tents, bell tents and cafe etc. We are sure many members will welcome these developments but please balance this with adding good quality traditional low facility sites in sympathy with the surrounding countryside at a reasonable price for those in the club who value this type of traditional club site.
