We come every year to this site and as always the facilities were spotless and I am pleased to say we got a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful wardens, much better than it use to be.
Now most of the caravans on the approach road have gone the drive to the site is much more appealing.

Autumn weekend
This is a lovely club site, friendly staff, well laid out and very clean and tidy. We found our pitch easily and although on a slope it was very nice. Only downside was the staff mini tractors which were busy and a bit noisy. The facilities were very good and spotless, although the shower cubicles were a bit small. The site is well placed, close to buses into Brighton and within walking distance of the Marina
Nice site but noisy staff vehicles
We were disappointed at the noise level from staff mini tractors checking around the site at 7 in the evening and maintenance work early on the Sunday morning. In the evening it seemed that the pitches were being repeatedly checked for about an hour and the noise disturbed our enjoyment of sitting out. On other sites vehicles are quieter and not noticeable.

Superb few days
Couldn't have asked for a better site, the wardens were friendly, the facilities spotless as ever, a 10 minute walk to buses into Brighton & Hove, but a really lovely quiet spot (aside from the nearby footy team!). Superb location, will be back. Oh, and 20 degree heat in October helped!
excellant
What an excellent site we had a week stay a very quiet site cleanliness was excellent wardens were only happy to help with anything will definitely book to go back
Very nice site
Stayed 5 nights on a fully serviced pitch, arrival was very smooth no problems at all, was given all the local info we needed, pitched up all good nice pitch slightly sloping, very quiet but was in school time, the shower blocks are some of the best I have seen well done in fact one of the cleanest sites I've seen in a while, cost us £125 for the stay no complaints there, the location was spot on 10 min walk to the main road where for £7.90 for 2 adults you get unlimited travel on the bus all day and night fantastic value, I would definitely go back to this site when we have seen the rest of the country.

The Not-so Friendly Club
When I joined this club some 17 years ago, it seemed to be the norm that every time you passed another camper, male or female, on the way to or from the showers, or wherever, smiles and greetings were exchanged. But, is it my imagination that, over the years, this practice is gradually dying out? On a recent stay at the Brighton Club Site, apart from the odd grunt, "Good Morning" responses were in very short supplyt. Just about all of us must be aware of 'The Friendly Club' and I wonder if ours is in danger of becoming 'The Unfriendly Club?' So next time you're on your way to the showers or wherever, get over last night's hangover, or whatever else may be troubling you, put a smile on your face and voice a big "Good Morning" or "Hello" or whatever may be appropriate at the time.

And, here are 2-3 suggestions for Management to consider. When refilling those double-toilet roll holders, if replacing an almost completely used roll, don't take it away completely but put on the windowsill or other convenient ledge for 'emergency' use. Also, at Brighton, on an early visit to the toilets, two out of the four cubicles in one block exhibited four empty spool ends sitting on the floor, i.e. causing a 50% non-usability.
Some sites, and again this applies to Brighton, provide us with a dose of Chris Evans from a radio speaker in the shower block. But, although we don't want it booming, at least the sound level should be such that we can hear the banter and, even more usefully, the news and weather. Otherwise, it's more as if being irritated by a noisy neighbour's radio or TV. This is that you can hear it, but you can't hear it, if you see what I mean? Otherwise, consider not offering the service at all.
Lastly, if one goes into a pub or coffee bar offering WiFi, it is always free. If you stay at a campsite in France, where available, it is also free. So Caravan Club, why not offer it as a freebie at your sites as well? Although site fees are reasonable, they are considerably more than they used to be. When I first joined, for one person, they averaged out at about a fiver a night. Now, and obviously inflation contributes to this as well, but has it really trebled in this time period? No, I don't think so. Why not sweeten the pill and avoid these little niggling extras and follow our friends across the Channel's generosity and offer free WiFi? Although, I do agree, they are pretty mean with the toilet paper over there, and you are advised to supply your own. Apart from these little niggles, and otherwise, your wardens do a grand job in general, so please keep up the good work!

Brilliant Brighton Site
Sheepcote Valley is a fantastic site close to Brighton. The facilities are of a high standard and there is a small play area for children. It was our first visit and we will certainly be visiting again. The site is within a 10 minute walk of the numerous buses that go into Brighton and within easy walking of the marina. The only issue we had was the lack of TV signal. As the site is in a valley (hence the name!) we could not get any signal. We did note that some campers had aerial leads which obviously is a necessity.
Highly Recommended
This was my first ever stay at Brighton Caravan Club, I've stayed in Brighton countless times in hotels & at friends etc but never knew it was there!
It is a perfect location to get into town & the Marina shopping centre and Lidl supermarket is a 10/ 15 minute walk from the site.
The local buses that take you right into the centre of Brighton is 10 minute walk.
The site itself is so well equipped it has 2 Spotlessly clean toilet blocks / washrooms and has 2 huge Motorhome filling / emptying waste points too. Very easy to maneuver into.
There is a Large playground for the kids which is handy to keep them occupied & there is also a local football club pitch right next to the site also.
I've already re booked for the following weekend can't wait you must give it a go.
