Bunree is in a beautiful location with so many wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area but if you can't book well in advance and sometimes it is not possible, sadly it is becoming difficult to get more than an odd night. I find so it becomes nothing more than a stopping off enroute rather a base location from which to explore and enjoy the surrounding area. For such a busy, well used site I think it is in need of new facilities, the showers are in need of a refurbishment and could benefit from a layout rethink to give more room with a bench seat . The dishwashing area could benefit from an update and I would prefer not to have to walk past everyone using it to get to the ladies facilities. And Yes , perhaps a few more service points as they're all close to the centre and it can be a long walk in the pouring rain! As another review mentioned, THE MIDGES are rarely far from this site , so be prepared.! Despite the need in my opinion for a refurbishment the site is well kept and very clean thanks to the Wardens, It can't be easy running a busy site and coping with the Midges too! So 5 stars to them. Perhaps the club could consider obtaining another site nearby as this one is so busy . ??
