Quietest visit to Burrs!

We arrived for 12 as usually do when visiting Burrs without thinking admission times may have changed due to the Covid situation so had to park up along Woodhill Road as the whole of Burrs Country Park was heaving being a Sunday. Not a problem, we had a walk with the dog and then made our way onto site. We were welcomed by a friendly, approachable warden who explained everything about current covid safety on site. She was a delight and under present circumstances with such strict rules to adhere to, didn't let that get in the way of a bit of humour and time to chat. We have visited Burrs many times now, have always liked the layout, the pitch sizes are great and facilities looked after diligently. The site was very quiet, time of year maybe or Covid.......perfect for those of us who want / need a change of scenery without taking unnecessary risks to ourselves or others. We will be back ( if we are spared) next season.

Just an added point of observation....at no point did I see service pitch facilities getting cleaned when pitches were vacated. I didn't witness any cleaning of the communal service areas either, bin lid handles, taps etc. That's not to say it didn't happen, just saying I never saw it.
