We have stayed here on numerous occasions whilst visiting family in the area. Good size pitches and shower blocks clean. Trains are a lovely feature. Not all visitors can walk into Bury but there is a local bus service a short walk by the kiddies play park. There is a small dog walk on site and 95+ acres of surrounding parkland - however we still saw dogs off lead and being walked on the grass around the pitches and being allowed to do their business. This is not acceptable and rules regarding dogs should be enforced. The removal of bins from service points to a 'bin compound' beside reception does not enhance the site and only encourages rubbish being left around the site.
