Just spent 3 nights here, our first time in the peaks as a family. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially Mark who greeted us at the entrance and advised us what we needed to do. On site facilities were very well kept, excellent toilet and shower block, always clean when we used them. Numbers limited to four at a time due to covid which was reassuring. The site location is great, you really feel away from it all, but so easy to walk into Buxton, and to Salomons temple, it’s literally all on the door step!! No play area for the kids but tbh this wasn’t a problem as there is so much else to do. Wanted to try the Mam Tor walk but the weather wasn’t on our side so looks like we wil have to revisit again - can’t wait!!
