Peaceful site on a lovely island

Sssh! This is a lovely peaceful 'no facilities' site, long may it remain so. Red squirrels can be seen on the site and we have encountered muntjac deer in the old quarry in Marian-glas. Stars abound on a clear night. Very easy circular dog walk from the site, a little further walk can be taken to St Eugrads church. Good local shops in Benllech including a Co-op, Tesco express and a Spar. Larger Asda at Llangefni. Sadly good eating pubs are harder to find. The White Eagle at Rhoscolyn is far and away the best, and we've been told the Gaerwen arms is in the up. Kinmel arms in Moelfre is ok for food but has a lovely outlook over the harbour, A walk from The pub along past the lifeboat shop and station to the monument to the ship the Royal Charter is a must. The Boathousr at Red Wharfe bay is very good too. Wardens at the site are first class, friendly and helpful. Cant recommend the site highly enough, but don't tell everyone!
