Lovely small site but a little isolated

We have just had 6 nights at Camelford. Overall an enjoyable stay. The site is spotlessly clean and well cared for. The shower block is probably the oldest we have seen on a club site but still adequate and very clean. The wristband Outside the facilities system worked well and seemed better than on other sites where everyone had a band, much less confusion and never had to check if anyone was there or not. There is an Electricity pylon on site in a dominant position so be aware if you have worries about these. The dog walk is tiny and our dog refused to do anything in there, but there is a small green next door. On the whole one of the less dog friendly sites we stayed on due to lack of lead free area. Be aware that the site is quite exposed in some parts, we had high winds and several of us lost our awnings despite anchoring them well. The wardens were friendly, helpful and lovely. Fab fish and chip shop in Camelford.
