Good for families

Quiet site and a good base for visiting the surrounding area.

We picked this site as a convenient base for visiting relatives in Port Isaac. The site is generally on a slope from back to front and if conditions are wet could cause problems if you are positioned on grass. There are some hard standings in the middle of the site but these are usually the first pitches to be taken so if you want one of these, arrive early. Many people have complained about the electricity pylon on site but we had no problems with this. The toilet facilities are a bit old, but they function ok. The dog walk is very small but there are plenty of lanes nearby to exercise your dog(s). The town is a few minutes drive away and has a few shops. We can recommend the fish & chip shop. There is also a shop attached to the local petrol station which is very handy and a golf course close by. If you are expecting a club site with fantastic modern facilities, lots of hard standing, super fast wi-fi and all the mod cons then you will be disappointed. If you want a site that is clean with all the basics you need and is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding areas like Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Wadebridge etc then this is the site for you. We will definately visit this site again.
