A glimps of heaven

I have been coming to this site since I was 13 years of age. Its beauty and wild surroundings captured my heart from the first trip. The narrow road, although not easy for the less skilled driver to negotiate is surrounded by the most stunning views as it winds its way to Carradale Bay. The magic continues as your approach to the site as it takes you through the estate who's pretty woodland rich in flora and fauna runs by the side of the river Carra, meandering through the dale. The cottage in the wood conjured many magical images as its pretty storybook frontage sets the imagination racing. The winding road continues until it opens out to the entrance of the site which welcomes you into its heavenly embrace. The owner Colin continues the special feeling with his warm and welcome greeting, everything as beautiful and well tended as it always is. Any stress or problems are left at the entrance for the whole of the holiday as this magical place embraces you with its beauty and wild enchantment. The excitement for me builds as I rush to set up so that we can get the dogs and ourselves onto the beach and for walks to fully appreciate the full vista and its beauty of this stunning site. Pure heaven, clean, wild and unspoilt. Overlooking Arran and Ailsa Craig, through storm or flat calm weather this place has captured my heart and soul. Truly a gem of a site, which is run with the care and attention it deserves with excellent clean facilities. Cant wait to revisit my little bit of heaven.
