We stayed here for 4 nights on our 3 week trip round Scotland. We had wonderful weather and a perfect pitch, facing the beautiful long sandy beach - wonderful shells! And so peaceful, falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Colin was really helpful, recommending pubs and helping when we ran out of gas and couldn't find anywhere to buy some more. Nice showers but would suggest putting a pole and shower curtain across the end of each one to give a dry area for dressing. This was about halfway through our trip, so we made good use of the launderette, which was really appreciated. Likewise the small library of books in reception. Also, thank you Colin for insisting on green toilet chemicals - we'd not used this before and far prefer it to the blue stuff! Like others, we used the single track road with passing places on arrival and departure, with no problem whatsoever. Kintyre is lovely, but a long way round, so next time I'd stay at a site, see the sights, then move on, rather than travelling so far - but on the other hand, what could beat Carradale Bay!
