Super site in a lovely setting, did think looking at the pictures it was right at the side of the Reservoir. didnt realise it was a 30 minute walk . Nicely spaced out pitches clean facilities and best ever dog walk all around the site. Visitor centre at Carsington Water worth a visit Lovely to sit outside on the terrace despite the awful weather. Dovedale is a must beautiful walk along the river so Riley had lots of swims Went to Tissington for the Well Dressing . what a lovely village worth a visit at any time. Only had one meal out at the Knockerdown Inn just 5minute drive. Good reasonably priced food and very dog friendly. Unfortunately we had bad weather so a bit disappointing as such a lovely area
