A very pleasant site where access to Carsington Water is via a walkway to the southern end. As the walkway is quite narrow I would advise walking to the southern end of Carsington Water by the gassed area next to the road this will allow for social distancing. There is a very nice walk within the site which is close to the perimeter. It is a decent distance to walk your dog or simply take yourselves on a pleasant walk. Due to COVID-19, I would advise you use your own toiletry and washing facilities. This is for obvious reasons, or to avoid a wait. Carsington Water gets very busy in good weather so if you fancy a walk or ride around the pleasant perimeter path, I would advise you do it early or late on. We shall, at some time, return as we enjoyed our stay very much.
