Not what we expect of a Caravan Club Site

On the driveway up to the site notices have been posted advising new arrivals to stay in their vehicle until they reach the front of the queue, and then to pull up to the stop sign, no problem, pretty basic instructions which we followed, once the van in front had booked in I pulled up to the stop sign, which is on the barrier and my wife went to book in. Well you would think I had run over a child by the response of the very stern female warden, apparently we are to supposed to stop at the stop markings on the road (which you can't see if following another van) this warden was extremely rude and for the rest of the booking in process treated my wife like a child, we have been caravaning for some considerable time and visited many sites we don't expect to be treated like children. It may be worth noting that there is a difference between a sign and a road marking, and if you can't see the road markings you can't comply with them. All other wardens were great and friendly as you would expect, site was great walks fantastic. Won't be going back however, once bitten twice shy.

So when you approach a junction with a solid white line, do you stop or not, car or large vehicle in front moving off ????
To be truthful, theirs not being allot this year keeping to rules, and I think it’s now getting everyone down. I’m sure that the situation wasn’t that bad to ruin your weekend

Yes Kerri, you would stop at the solid white line which is normally viable and in line with the Stop sign 🛑.

At this site the stop sign is on the barrier and the stop line some 10m before, and you can't see it with a caravan in front of you.that aside nobody deserves to be treated like a child even if they have made a small mistake.
