Really like this campsite, it is only 30 mins away from us so we use it pretty often. We never have any trouble finding a nice and quiet pitch, but it can become a bit busy around the play area during the school hols. Nice long walk to the visitor centre for Carsington water, and a huge walk (8 miles) around the reserviour if you can handle it. I would recommend the Knockerdown Inn which is a 5 min drive away (dog friendly), I would not recommend the pizza van that comes onto site - very expensive and the meaty topping was shocking.. Great facilities (probably the nicest we have been too so far), and some good dog walks from the site.
