We have been to this site before but many years ago and had forgotten how good it was. A slightly strange layout due to the area it is on, long and thinnish with bays rather than a circular route around the site. Found a good pitch fairly close to the one amenity block, and facing the right direction, I have some mobility problems. It was very quite during our four day stay but very nice and we relaxed very easily. The site was well run and clean and the wardens were very pleasant and helpful. There is Fish and Chips on a Friday night coming onto the site, unfortunately we had to leave Friday morning!!!! For the fitter person it is a good site for walking and for cycling and there are some pitches, not many that actually have a Reservoir view. I would recommend this site very highly.
