Arrived on Sun of the very busy Aug BH weekend. Site was pretty much full, however we were met with usual polite and helpful staff who pointed out all the available pitches. Despite the busy weekend the site was smart and tidy with all facilities perfectly clean. Lovely site for Carsington Water itself, we’re cyclists and paddle boarders so an ideal location. We spent 2 weeks at the site and during that time the wardens were amazing at keeping everything absolutely 100%. Bins emptied very regularly etc. The attention to detail around the site was also impressive, grass cut regularly and most areas were golf fairway standard. Edges to woodland and bases around trees were strimmed neatly, and nice touches like the herb garden, play and seating area ‘lawn’ in front of the reception clearly reflects the pride of the warden team.
