Lovely campsite, very quiet and peaceful. As usual staff helpful and friendly and facilities excellent. Most pitches have some shade so if you're looking for sitting out in the sun, this might be an issue. Very few pitches have a view of the reservoir but there are walks close by and as we were on our bikes cycling to Carsington was not an issue. A lovely 8 mile cycle/walk path around the reservoir. The visitors centre at Carsington has a very good cafe/restaurant with reasonably priced food. When we were there, a fish and chip van visited the site on the Friday evening, fish was very good but sadly the chips were of the frozen variety!! and be prepared to queue, I stood for just over an hour. All in all though, a lovely stay, and would not hesitate to go back.
