I stayed on the before works started and thought that they could do with a bit of upgrading to the club's usual standards but it is a good location and would be good in time. I realise that the club paid a lot of money for the site and they are clearly investing heavily in it at present. It is one of the more expensive locations and once all works are complete then it will probably be worth it. I stayed on the site at the schools half term break in October. This review relates to the situation that exisited at that time. The site is a construction site, it was surprising that they had campers on site whilst so much work was taking place. Work starts at 7am and runs to 8pm, this is noisy intrusive construction works covering a sizable work force with many concurrent noisy activites. The roads and paths are covered in dirt and construction materials, not really what is to be expected from a campsite but would be normal on a building site. The new toilet block is excellent an when works finish it will be a good place but at the moment I would advise to stay away unless you love camping on building sites.
