Mustn't Grumble

I feel I mustn't grumble (but I will) as this site is new and due for upgrading and although it looks good there was much that wasn't working well at present. There is no CAMC signage to the site so make sure you have the right name due to other sites nearby. We had a nice welcome but no information so discovered the 10 amp supply and the intermittent electrical fault later. The motorhome service point was out of action. There are only a few white peg pitches (most pitches are serviced) so finding a pitch needed a couple of site circuits to avoiding the more difficult sloping ones. So why did we go? We were taking a route down the NE coast and Cayton was our last stop off. The village has two shops, two pubs and a fish and chip shop, a short walk away and we had a meal in the older style pub. The beach is a slightly longer walk, about 20 mins to a foot tunnel under the main road and then there are two routes down to the beach, beware of mud slips on the cliffs. There's plenty to do in the area and the frequent bus service is excellent between Bridlington and Scarborough, the bus stops outside the site.
