Good for families

Over price and not up to club standards

We booked this site at the last minute, could not find anything else over bank holiday weekend. It was bit expensive but it was for a service pitch - or what was called a service pitch - tap and waste drain. Otherss review said about free wifi, we did not get that with our service pitch. Had alot better on private sites and alot cheaper ! When we checked in we where informed that they had allocated us a pitch and if we did not like it then tough ! Bins where over flowing, looked like not been emptied all weekend. Toilet block very dated and in need of a very deep clean, on leaving popped into toilet block next to reception and sink in first toilet was covered in what looked like poo - how it got there god knows. Chemical waste - had to walk half way round the site to find one, and not much fun with toilet waste in hand. Lovely village short wall away, Had Sunday Lunch at The Star - Very good, and excellent beer. The farrier was alot classier and the price of a pint reflected that. Turning right away from the village lovely Dog Friendly beach, snack shack on way down, selling ice creams tea and coffee The road around site very dusty, and full of pot holes and club 6 meter rule does not come into it, hopefully something that will be changed in the redevelopment of the site. Wardens not as attentive as other sites Overall, we do not feel that CAMC should be charging the current rates on a site that does not provide anywhere near the circuit minimum standard, so it is very over-priced, dated and in need of deep clean.
