Booked this site as my partner had a hospital appointment in Birmingham and thought we'd have a few days away with our new rescue dog. Everything clean and tidy with good clear signage. Liked the little information shack too where you can borrow games and books and check out transport timetables, places of interest etc. Doggo loved the leafy walk and watching the squirrels. We were also guided to a lovely longer walk through the countryside too. Can see why it's popular all year round; there's plenty to do not a million miles away and Chapel Lane makes a very reasonable base indeed. Missing a site shop but most people come well stocked-up anyway I think.
