Fortunately we had only booked one night here, as a stop over, before heading to Pandy (what a contrast in customer service between the two sites). We had arrived early (our mistake), but did not expect to be spoken to like naughty children. I was told in no uncertain terms that we were early and the toilets had not been cleaned. The lady relented and let us in, but it left a bad taste in our mouth. The showers/toilets were exceptionally clean and tidy 5/5 for that! We walked to a local huge Sainsbury’s which stocked everything. We would not stay again, due the receptionist/warden, but it is in a good position close to a motorway for a stopover.

I should imagine a relentless stream of early arrival chancers would test the patients of the most helpful of staff! It’s not a recent requirement to have an ‘Arrival After’ time so why do so many people do it and then try to justify this with excuses? The arrival time is there for a reason and applies to all. Those who are respectful and gauge their times or at the very least have the courtesy to call the site en route to query if they can arrive’a little early’ and not just turn up, would elevate the risk of not being welcomed with open arms! Site Staff have a challenging enough time, so well done to them and keep up the good work 👍🥳😂
