we arrived to a polite efficient and check in we found a pitch overlooking the children's play area so we could keep an eye on the grandchildren. when i went back to inform the warden on the desk of the pitch number i told her i could not find a point to plug the electric hook up cable in, she got on the radio to another warden who was there when i arrived back at the pitch, he found someone had plugged into the wrong point and it was sorted in no time to everyone's satisfaction. There had been a storm the day before we arrived and a lightning strike damaged the sewage treatment plant but the wardens arranged for tankers to pump out the waste twice a day and kept the toilets running as normal. There was a power cut to the camp and surrounding area for a couple of hours the wardens gave as much information as they had. The site was well kept all the facilities were clean and pleasant. the location is spectacular with fabulous walks and cycle rides on the door step. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Clumber park has become on of our favorites cant wait to return. Thanks to all the wardens for making our stay so special
