Good for families

Quiet site, good location, friendly staff - toilet block needs a refresh

We stayed w/c 9th October and found the site to be clean, tidy and the wardens were friendly. The toilet block is a little dated/needs upgrading but that said, the wardens kept it spotlessly clean. Nice pub over the road (The Bryn Arms) which is reasonably priced and offers a few limited gluten free options if you have a need for a GF diet as my wife does. Some good walks direct from the site and we also drove to Croesor for a walk (climb/scramble up Cnicht which is the welsh version of the Matterhorn). It's a challenging hike so only do it if you are experienced and reasonably fit. Overall a good site to stay on, quiet with some good views (once the clouds clear :-) ).
